same here. Altough the user of the Haier w910 doesn't notice this, only the receiver of the call does. It seems that certain recever phones are able to filter out that buzzing frequency and the ever persistent buzz is a bit quieter but still anoying. Sound quality is of course severely reduced with this. Here is a little of background on this issue and why it appears:
If you read the whole article you'll eventually find out that the frequency of the buzz is 217 Hz and the problem appears due to faulty design. In other words - the phone has some serious design flaws.
I have more:
After a month of usage the display went dead.
The phone still functioned with touch function beeing operational, but no picture available. I opened a RMA (bought it from focalprice) and insisted on immediate replacement. In RMA I addressed both issues - the buzz and the screen. First they tried to get rid of me by offering me a coupon first for 15$, then for 30$. Then they tried to convice me to repair the phone in Europe and that they will cover the expenses after I present them an Invoice
. In the end we eventualy agreed to send the w910 back to focalprice.
Now I'm waiting what will turn out.
w910 is otherwise well built and pretty fast. Too bad it doesn't work as it should.
