Kingston-Mobile Lite Wireless card & USB reader help.
So, I just purchased this little device with the obvious intent to expand my storage options. But I have run into a slight snag. So, in order to connect to tge device I need to turn on WiFi. That is all well and good. But there is a slight problem with this. I use my phone as a Hot Spot at all times. So I can jot get the phone to transrer anything to and from the device at will. What I cand do is setup the device to act as a bridge to pass internet through wheb it is connected to my phones mobile hot spot. So my other devices can connect to the Kingston and work as they should with the added benefit of receiving internet through it as well.
I was thinking of a coue things that miggt be possible. But I dont have the skills for the task.
Firs one. Get the phone to activate hotspot and WiFi at the same time. Though I doubt that will ever work.
The other is to let the 3G/4G be active while the WiFi is active. Thus allowing the wifi to connect to the Kingston device. Now the connection of the internet that is coming through my carrier needs to be passed througg to my wifi so that my other devices can receive internet data.
Any one want to take this on? Currently I have as my main phone the Galaxy S4 on Verizon. My company phone is the Galaxy S3. So if this woukd for some strange reaso work with the S3 instead. I can switch out the SIM card no problem. Though I prefer to not do such a thing. Any way, help on this would greatly be appreciated. Also, I am open to other hardware if need be. Meaning replacing the Kingston device with something similar. And battery powered if possible.
