[Guide] convert F180 to E975 with Kikat 4.4.2 Stock E975V20A Update 16/7/2014

First things first, I hold no responsibility for bricked phones, you flash, you break, you fix.

+ First backup all data to PC and should "Hard Reset" to flush Memory.
+ Flash your F180S/L/K to 4.4.2 stock V30B/C : http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=20
+ Root the phone with this : http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1941699 then install "SupperSu" from Playstore
+ Backup your IMEI with this tool (Use "Backup_Imei.bat") : http://www.mediafire.com/download/0rd2wm6wgek6jlu ; After backup Imei copy Folde "Backup_Imei" to safe location.
~~+ Download modem of KK 4.4.2 : http://www.fshare.vn/file/AKOF9BUJTN/~~
+ Flash again with E975 V20A stock
+ Root again
Update
+ Copy back folder "Backup_Imei" to phone memory ~~and replace modem.img with F180S/L/K you have~~
+ Rum "Restore_Imei.bat"
+ Install "SQLite editer" from Google play to open "settings.db" in location "Data\data\com.android.providers.settings\databases" select "global" -> find "subscription_mode" change value "1" to "0" then save and exit.
+ Reboot Phone and Signal will back with any F180S/L/K with E975 Kitkat Rom

Boom F180K/S/L convert to E975 Stockrom will have singal (3G/2G), SMS with 3G/2G too - I'm not tested LTE
LTE also work too, thank for reported

My F180K work suscess with this

Fixed can't send SMS

Sorry Not "modem.iso", it's "modem.img" baseband of LGG 4.4.2 (F180K/S/L) download and extract before. Should use "Basebandchung.zip"

Why "Basebandchung.zip"?
I flash "F180L_Baseband_4.4.2".
Everything works fine.

Can you send SMS, I don't know why, Mesager can't send sms, I try some SMS app but no hope

I flash "F180K_Baseband_4.4.2" have no sevice

Hi. I have few questions. Only thing i need to flash my phone is this tool + lg drivers? No need in "windows enabler" or "lg support tool"?
My phone is converted f180s to europe version, can i flash directly stock(f180s) KK with this tool and follow your guide? And finaly what i have to select in "select type" and "phone mode"? Thanks in advance.

This tool with lg driver is enough, no need windows enable, host, shttp.

I have read this translated with google (google does not translate images). Why to choose "cdma" and what after "normal/cse" flash? Have you tried this? Can you post detailed instructions? This is my first LG, dont want to brick it.Thanks.

F180 seri is CDMA base, you can check your imei with LG to see type is CDMA. Normal is flash without format Phone memory, CSE flash is after flash finish phone will have "Hard Reset" before finish, it is very useful to be not stuck in LG boot, but will lose all data in phone memory

I have F180s (v20n-JB).
When I update to v30b(KK), my phone cannot connect to PC.
Not in MTP, PTP Tethering or LG Software mode.
It only charge.
No matter what software I use to flash, it is still the same.
- LG PC suite
- LG Mobile Support Tool
- LG Flashtool 2014
How can I update to KK with usb function as usual?

But I already installed it.
Today I try flashing F180L30c_00kdz over F180S20n.
Then I got no network.
Now I have to use tot of F180S20i.
Wish me luck. :crying:

Why F180L30c_00kdz ? for F180s I have "SKT/SK TELECOM(KOR V30b LGF180S" kdz download it in http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=20

Use "Flashtool2014" with "CSE Flash" to flash stock rom ò f180s
