Yeah, lol. Some days are like that, and others I wanted to tie it to a brick and throw it in a lake if it doesn't stop ringing lol. But, I gotta work and if the phone is ringing or I'm returning calls to customers, then I'm in good shape and not going to complain. LOL. Yesterday was actually kind of a slow day though... had to take care of my calls so I could go freeze my @$$ off in the deer stand. :rolleyes:

i figured u was one of those people who kill defenseless animals :eek: id love to see a deer come outta the woods with a shot gun and shoot one of u guys:eek:

Yeah I guess I'm lucky that I work in prison and we can't take cell phones in so I don't have to worry about people calling me....of course I have to worry about people trying to stab me and kill me but that would be much better then having to talk on the phone.

Lol if someone doesn't shoot them then they get so overpopulated they run out into my car when i'm driving so I hope he kills them all. Plus theres nothing like some good venison jerky....

im not gunna make this a long discussion but if we stop tearing down the woods and taking their home ,, they may jjust stay therre lol ,, i know if someone takes my house ,, im goin to move in with them :D

Hey guys,

I just flashed this rom about an hour ago, and it seems that when I rebooted my phone, it got caught in a loop with the Blue Android and Cyanogen Mod text. It keeps doing this over and over again. I wiped my data and dalvik-cache. Any and all input would be appreciated.

is it bootlooping (screen goes black then starts over) or just spinning? it takes a bit to load

Wipe again and reflash the rom and the Google apps...it takes a few minutes on first boot so give it 5 or so minutes to boot up. If there is still an issue try to get a logcat.....

Silent alarm clock used to vibrate now it does not

Flashed to 3.8 yesterday. Love it! ...except that the silent alarm clock used to vibrate as it should with no sound and now it does not. It will vibrate only if it is set to also sound. Any ideas how to fix this?

I just flashed the 3.8 rom, but I had the same problem as others with it just looping. I hit the end key and the screen turn off. Then I hit it again to see if it would come up. It did like as if I flashed the rom but then after unlocking the phone the screen is just black and I can't do anything.

Any advice here?

I tried flashing the ROM 3 times now.

Is there any way to change the notification bar color to a flat black within the CM settings? The default black is a 'gradient' black.

Finally got everything working. Ended up having to do a full wipe without using Titanium Backup to restore certain apps, mainly handcent and the MMS/SMS app data.

The first time I did a full wipe sent myself a test message to verify it worked, then broke Trackball functionality after restore the data for those apps.

Feels like 3.8 just just a bit smoother, I'm not seeing as many random lag hiccups when I've got a bit too much running. Keep up the good work, I'm loving the CM integrated ROMs.

just curious if anyone is having trouble with pandora while hooked up to a car stereo, it works fine for a bit but gets laggy and will freeze up when calls come thru...its not a constant thing but i just figured id see if anyone else was having problems?

Did you flash ADWbGone?

I used that zip from the KaosFroyo forum and it deleted ADW but it looks like the stock launcher isn't there.

What governor are you running, what's your min and max for your cpu, and do you have any screen off profiles?

I had the same issue with Pandora using the smartass gov at either 528 or 480 max and 122 min as my screen off profile in Set CPU. Whenever I disabled the profiles in Set CPU it seemed to worked just fine.

hmmm i havent been using setcpu for quite a while... im running a smartass at 710-160, i just dont think it should trip out on 710... maybe i should try lowering it to 604 or 528 see what it does...

    If you want to use the old 2D Gallery I have made a flashable zip file that will remove the 3D Gallery and install the 2D Gallery...just flash in recovery. Download 2dGallery.zip here.

    hey guys I threw together a little app to change the Verizon Wireless carrier name on the status bar/lock screen for those who want to put something else there. It should work with any rom and also probably other rooted phones(have only tested eris and inc) check out the thread here
