Add your own city to weather tab:
Credit to turnstar
1. Copy 2330fc3c_manila from your windows directory onto your PC
2. Download SQLite Administrator.
3. Download WeatherDatabaseEditor 1.2 and install to your device (you won't actually be using this but it adds a reg key that is essential to making this work. (I'm not sure what it adds but this is what the orig instructions I read said to do))
4.Open the manila file using SQLite Administrator on your PC (make sure you select all files when trying to open or it wont show up) then select the "Edit Data" tab and highlight cities in the tree on the left, all you gotta do now is pick a city you'd never use and edit the CityName, Country and accuweathercode to match the city you plan to add.
5. Place the edited copy of 2330fc3c_manila into your windows directory and soft reset the device.
6. Go into the TF3D weather tab and select your city from the list (this will also add your city to the calender tab)

Oh yesss works a treat. Had to install Total Commander to transfer the edit file back to the Windows Folder though as the standard File explorer wouldn't let me do it.

Worked also for me on my TD2, but i didn't use the WeatherDatabaseEditor version 1.2, instead of that i also installed Total Commander on my phone. With Total Commander i just copied the edited "2330fc3c_manila" file from the memory card to the \Windows directory off the phone. :):):):)

Looking at the Cab file for WeatherDatabaseEditor, the only registry change it makes is:

HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila\Weather.ServerURLOverride="http://weather.not2advanced.com/htcweather/forecastdata.php?ac=XDADevs&locCode=%25ls&version= 1&device=innovation"

Just thought I'd point that out for those who will end up making a Cab file to install the weather modification as needed when re-flashing instead of installing unnecessary software again.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong - but there's no way to overwrite the original file with the edited one. All I'm getting is 'The original file is in ROM and cannot be replaced'. I'm doing it via Resco Explorer. Any suggestions?

I use WinCE CAB Manager, when installed from a cab it overwrites the rom version of the file with no complaints.

worked 100%...almost

Used resco explorer, and it worked fine. My city is now on the weathertab, but not on the calendertab. Anyone know why and how to fix it?
