So I made another modification so I can use the Touchstone with my case. I bought some neodymium magnets at Hobby Lobby, but they were too big to fit under the back cover.

Since my case is just a cheapo $3 Amazon special, I took a big drill bit and drilled out 4 holes in the case. I seated the magnets in the holes and epoxied them in place. I will probably finish the exterior holes of the case with black silicon so it matches my black case. This way, if I want to use the phone without the case, it just uses the metal discs in the back cover. I will post pics when I get the case finished up.
I love the extra grip of the magnets though. It really gives a satisfying "grab" when it aligns on the touchstone. No mushy sloshing around feel anymore.
Update: Here's a look at the case with the magnets. This is unfinished but I figured I would share. The plastic tore just a tiny bit because I jumped to a large drill bit too fast. I colored a couple spots with Sharpie where the white plastic was showing. This will all be covered with black silicon when I'm done so no problem there.
