Can someone post a step-by-step guide on how to set this up in Tasker? Much appreciated!

I figured it out:

01] You first have to get to the notification access settings to give Tasker access. The settings page looks like this :

02] Then set up two tasks for the LED plugin like this :

03] Then setup a profile using STATE as the trigger :

So when you enable DND, the LEDs will be off and vice versa

Just wanted to post to say that I've been using this on the S7 Edge for a year and just installed it on an S9 Plus and it still works like a charm!

So handy to be able to script the LEDs on and off. I don't know why it's not in the play store but fortunately I have the apk so just sideloaded that.

    Hey Guys,
I have just released an app on the Google Play store.
It is a plugin for tasker so you can control your notification led

(this plugin only works for touchwiz roms)

i thought so. i don't really know who would need this. every ROM i've been on has these settings. some have more control than others.

If you want to control the led settings through tasker this is the only way to do it.
That is why i created this app
