CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.4 (KK), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

Code:
#include
/*
 * Your warranty is now void.
 *
 * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
 * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
 * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
 * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
 * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
 *
 * Submitting bug reports on nightly builds is the leading
 * cause of male impotence.
 */

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community.
It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed.
CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

STATUS:
  • This is a direct port of CM10.2 to CM11.0 for n8010 and n8013 version of Galaxy Note 10.1
  • Rom is built with CM11 development branch, so bugs are expected
  • All the source code is available on my Github.
  • I do this on my free time and unfortunately I don't have much.
  • Any help is a appreciated!

Agree with Jiggs82, just upload as is... I doubt many users actually use the camera to much

Some news, I just added open source camera HAL. Camera seems to works good with 3rd party apps.
However camera apps from CM isnt present in the launcher. Will check later.

Hey man, just wanted to check in with you on a couple things. Which open source camera HAL patch are you using, the one from i9300 or sbrissen's one from i925 (VZW LTE Note 10.1), or a different one? When I tried the i925 version (with my Omni 4.4 builds) video was broken.

And if you want to just have camera fully working with little hassle you can use the proprietary blob camera, it's just that as per http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/53945/ you need to add that flag to your BoardConfigCommon.mk like so: https://github.com/omnirom/android_...mmit/79fb4e40c5df84265c71cc4297cc3b4aa134d08d

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the hint, ill try with the proprietary blob. For your info, i think used the hal in the p4notelte device tree to see if result are better.

Hey, @lirokoa I posted this in the OmniROM thread too, but I'm experiencing the same behavior on your CM build. I'm hoping that between you and @iofthestorm some progress could be made with this.

I'm having an issue with my desktop dock where almost every time I dock the tablet it completely freezes and shuts down.

I made some videos of the behavior.
Here's a video of what happens with CM11: http://l.bitcasa.com/eXEHxYCL
Here's a video of what happens with OmniROM (same behavior): http://l.bitcasa.com/i9isN1nL
Just for comparison, here's a video of a TouchWiz ROM (to show no hardware defects): http://l.bitcasa.com/Ee3Z3Hw-

I also got a logcat here: http://l.bitcasa.com/JlDS2bOE

I used the -v long flags so there's a ton of stuff in it, but the last thing in the log is this:
Code:
[ 01-29 12:20:52.630  2236: 2236 I/DockObserver ]

Dock state changed: 1

Here's the dmesg: http://l.bitcasa.com/udQUdDZ-

It doesn't seem like a lot to go on really. Interestingly, the same behavior occurs whether the dock is plugged in to power or not. It occurs about 90% of the time when docked. I haven't been able to figure out a pattern or any reproducible method for when it does/doesn't occur. My hunch is that it's a kernel issue since it appears everything just stops functioning, the screen freezes, and after a few seconds it just turns off. If you can think of anything else I could do to try to troubleshoot let me know...

Thanks!

I can have a look but it may be difficult without having the hardware.

I can have a look but it may be difficult without having the hardware.

It seems, on OmniROM at least, that changing the kernel settings made a huge difference. Raising the read-ahead buffer size made the freezes less frequent, but also changing governor made a huge difference. With read ahead buffer size at 4096 and governor set to Performance it hasn't frozen yet when put in the dock. I have a bunch of text the next few weeks, but then I've got a week off so I flash CM again and test.

Trebuchet Launcher

Just finished installing the ROM and it looks like Trebuchet has not been fixed - at least on my N801X.

Am unable to add any further Apps due to it's constant failure. Have re-installed ROM a couple of times without success. Pity as it's fast!

Any fixes?

Re-installed yet again and using Google+ launcher. All working fine now :)
