When on AT&T rom when it says 4g its actually HSPA whereas on the international rom it will show as the H symbol. When on LTE on AT&T it will say LTE and on international it will say 4g.

Hello,

Have you tested Lt28i working with Ad-hoc wifi supply? I have not succeeded in using wifi via Ad-hoc supply from my laptop. Anyhow, please tell me anyway that I can use wifi from my laptop, which uses Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection and not supported to use "connectify" software.
Thanks!

Maybe a bad download. Have you tried re-dling .111?

My service with ics is horrible, a client of mine has Verizon and download speed was 42mbps! While i got 3...

Also camera force closing, and has trouble focusing, contacts keep disappearing, wifi signal cutting out too, im sure ive done something wrong.

Maybe i should try the stock at&t baseband? Or just redo everything, what a royal pain. Is anyone else having any of these issues?

My best advice is to start from scratch. Completely wiped nothing setup .111 firmware then do the root/ICS upgrade process. This is the best/only way to eliminate or reduce the risk of issues.

Will this work on LT28h too? the H does not have LTE, so should we still check exclude baseband?

The LT28h never came with GB if I remember correctly. You might be able to flash the .111 GB firmware (exclude baseband) then follow the rooting procedure and flash to the LT28h ICS ftf (you can include the baseband if you want) and see if that works for you. Theoretically it should work as long as there is no issues flashing the LT28i firmware onto a LT28h

your cell phone's bootloader needs unlocking

Code:
19/008/2012 15:08:28 - INFO - Start Flashing

this will appear only if your cell phone's boot loader is locked...
unlock the bootloader and simlock will be turned off and your flashing will continue.
also right click on the flashing software and run as administrator after unlocking the boot loader.
regards

Um no bootloader lock has nothing to do with flashtools when flashing a stock ftf. You can flash with a locked bootloader all you want if you are flashing a stock firmware ftf.

sorry to revive an old issue, flashed phone like 4 times already and still can't get room. When running step1.bat, should the phone be ON or in flashmode? And pretty much same for step2. Does anyone have a screenshot of what a successful step1 prompt should look like?

Step 1 - Phone = ON, USB Debugging = ON, Unknown Sources = Checked Rom = GB .111

    Run Step1.bat
    ScreenShot2012-08-16at53912PM.png

Press any key to close command prompt. Turn OFF phone and disconnect USB.

Flash ICS without wiping anything. Exclude baseband only (you can exlude partition and TA is options are available
    ScreenShot2012-08-16at54007PM.png

Once ICS is flashed boot phone.

Phone = ON, rom = ICS

    Run Step 2.bat
    ScreenShot2012-08-16at55623PM.png

Once done you should have Root, ICS, LTE, and tethering ability.

    HI,I‘m夏一一(Alan)

    Thank you for share it.
    HI,I‘m夏一一(Alan).
    Remember!!!
DO NOT ROOT USING 2.3.7's way.
It will let you 28i shut down forever.
If you do it, unload and loading battery then flash a new FTF again.
