[CM7/9] Ported Stock TW Apps

Here are some stock TouchWiz apps that have had TouchWiz removed to work with other Roms, specifically CM7.

Note: These will not work on Roms other than CM7, except maybe MIUI (Doubtful)

These are all CWM flashable zips, so download to your SD card and flash.

TouchWiz Calculator

TouchWiz Calendar
This overwrites the stock CM7 Calendar and CalendarProvider apps.
Please re-check your calendar sync settings. This also might mess with any exchange accounts you have

Touchwiz Clock Package
Note: This is the EL30 clock. It leaves the stock clock.
If you change alarms within one of the clock apps, it will disable the alarms in the other. Make sure your alarms are set before you sleep!
The smart alarm in this app is also fairly quiet

just installed cm and the task manager is a crutch of mine
though i am liking the cm long-press back, to kill apps, as well

All apps installed and work well from the get-go, except TW calendar which was FCing. I wiped data/cache (app and CWM), rebooted and reflashed the .zip several times to no avail. Was about to give up but the following fixed it: first backed up the TW calendar and storage apps then uninstalled both completely via TiB, restored CM7 calendar & storage app/data (pulled it via TiB from a previous nandroid) and then restored the TW Calendar and Calendar storage apk's (TiB). TW calendar works fine now, no FCs

Aside from the TW Camera app, I also miss the TW dialer (search contacts option, speed dial etc). Hopefully the OP will consider porting TW phone.apk as well.

Dude you are awesome! I love the memo app and had a bunch already setup when checking out CM7. I installed yours and restored data with Titanium and they are all back! Thank you!

Is it possible to do this to the vvm apk? It would be nice to stop getting the text messages.

It is believed that it is part of the app and messaging combined. All AOSP ROMs have that happen. I wonder how the Nexus handles it. You can either get a messaging blocking app and block 9016 or turn off voicemail notifications and only have the text message notiify you.

I can give you the cm7 vvm apk and to get rid of notifications you go into settings>call settings>voicemail notifications (uncheck) and you'll be good. Also if you need to go into the voicemail settings in the same place and change *86 to your #

I don't see why not its aosp.... try it and report back your results worst case scenario is it doesn't instal or fc's

Confirmation that the task manager works, anyone? Does it add the 'task manager' button to the task switcher (long press home)? If so, that'll take care of the one thing I dislike about AOSP ROMs...
