I need idea's for a School group project and want to involve the chromecast.
As the title states, myself and 5 others are working on a project for "Processes in OO Development" (A course at my college that teaches us the whole process of developing a program in OO for the real world) and I had thought of developing something for the chromecast since it is brand new and there isnt much for it out yet. Which is also a problem.
Because it is so new, the API is still in its very early stages, and google hasn't released anything for mirroring a screen. Originally I wanted to write an app that works as a notepad (good for taking notes on a tablet for school. Similar to s-note or other note taking apps) using a stylus or your finger to write or draw, and then mirror the screen of the tablet onto the TV or projector. If this were possible at the time being, this would be not only an excellent project idea, but a vital tool in the classroom. But because the API is so limited due to the early stages of the chromecast, this is not a viable option. So I come to you XDA to see if you have any ideas for an app to program that utilizes the chromecast that would be a good project to work on through out the semester. The project needs to be something that isnt so complicated that it cannot be finished by December, but cannot be so simple as to finish it in 2-3 weeks. What would you guys like to see with the chromecast.
As for the limited API for chromecast, this is what we are stuck using for the time being until google releases a new version.
Here is a bad signature I made just to fill this space for now.
