Query
Since installing the 08.01 build my CPU is pegging at max speed, no matter what kernel or governor I'm choosing. I've been messing around trying to track what could be causing it, but I'm at a loss. Just re-flashed 8.1 and it's still doing it, so even the stock kernel/governor setup is letting it happen. Does anyone have an app or other utility/knowledge of how to find what could be causing the governor to get stuck at max speed while the phone is unlocked, and yet let deep sleep work when it's locked? WakeLock Detector doesn't show anything out of the ordinary, I put CPU Memory Monitor on and it doesn't show anything out of the ordinary either. I wasn't having the issue on any prior builds, or with Beans 20 that I was running before switching.
Kind of at a loss, I've got 4 cores burning at 1.6Ghz whenever I wake the phone up. Any ideas on how to track down what might be happening would be appreciated.
Addition:
Fresh install, nothing installed except OS Monitor and CPU Spy. All four cores pegged at 1600 with the keyboard and Android OS (no location) the only things running. Phone is uncomfortable to hold, has been on for 15 minutes with 15 minutes of 1600. Stock kernel, PegasusQ governor, nothing whatsoever changed except adding my account and those two aforementioned apps.

I may have found it on my own, though it was about the last thing I wanted to have to do. Completely wiped everything including system, now when I load up CPU Spy, it looks like the CPU is running through all of the speeds again and spending some time in them. I suppose something may have gotten stuck when I went from TW to CM, but I thought after wiping caches and data, the ROM install itself wiped system? I'm not sure, but at least I seem to finally be making progress.
