Make HiSuite not start when phone is plugged in

Is it possible to configure Windows not to fire up HiSuite automatically when phone is connected. I mostly use adb/fastboot tools, so don't need HiSuite launching all the time.

I have Ascend P6-C00, enabled developer and usb debugging

Yes it is possible simple go to start, run, type msconfig goto startup and find hisuite disable it and restart the pc

No need to use msconfig, HiSuite has that option itself, you just need to find it.

Even if I disable auto-start in the application settings, it will just ignore that setting and autostart anyways. Disabling the service seems to be the only solution.
