I just flashed Black Star X and did everything, and KABOOM It's unlocked now and I make a phone call to test it and it does work

Q/ some ROM already have a modem like Black Star X, if I installed any of them will it be an issue!?
If not, going to flash Sons of Android <<< wanna test it

This really works I jut unlocked a bell i717 and am using it on rogers!! Screw paying the $35 dollars

I'm new to the android world, I have an i717, on android 2.3.6, gingerbread.UCLA1. I'm wondering if this method can be used to unlock my phone running on att. and if not how do i go about it. ive ordered a code to unlock it but it didnt work, so that was a waste. thanks

You need to be rooted, flash a stock ics based Rom and then the radio that I posted and follow the instructions

I was stopped cold with a i717 AT&T note that would not unlock even with AT&T confirmed official code.
Tried multiple steps to get it unlocked and it finally worked after 4 days of trying; using most of the instructions on the fourm.

I made a thread this morning about and just updated it.
