Well I got go launcher up and running, but the problem is, I can't figure out how to actually install any apks. Can anyone explain how to actually launch apps via go launcher? Rest assured, it'd be appreciated.

Thanks downsay, that worked like a charm.
robertely, can you explain the process you used to get MX player on the tablet?
I'm a wee bit confused.
Great find! I installed button savior as a workaround to get to go launcher. Works like a charm.
Using MX player, i am currently playing a 1080p Xvid at full speed. Hazza! no converting media for me!
In other news, Spotify is also working. However it does not scale perfectly on a 7inch display.
Direct links to the Apks attached.
Thanks robertly, that worked just fine.
Regarding button savior: I got it downloaded and installed, but I can't figure out how to enable USB debugging. Can anyone shed some light on that? I read through the thread but nothing I saw in here seemed to work. Help?
Sorry for spamming here but I just wanted to give a heads up on MX Player:
Using the SW Decode (Fast Mode) I have gotten the thing to play a 720p high profile h.264 with 2.0 AAC in .mkv container and subtitles embedded to play nearly without hiccups. No dice on 1080p high profile h.264 but hopefully once HW decoding is out this can be fixed or at least 720p is rendered 100% smooth.
Sorry again for repeated posts but the dream of 720p in bed is one which I cannot give up.
Video Playback1
• MPEG-4 HD (up to 1080p)
• MPEG-42 (ASP@L5 AVI, up to DVD resolution)
• H.264 HD (HP@L4.2, up to 1080p@30 fps and 1080i/720p@60 fps)
With optional plug-in:
• Cinema: MPEG2 (up to DVD resolution MP/D1)
With the above codecs, the device can play video files with the following extensions: AVI, MP4, MOV, 3GP, MPG, PS, TS, VOB, MKV, FLV, RM, RMVB, ASF
Audio Playback1
• MP3
• WAV (PCM/ADPCM)
• AAC3, AAC+ 5.13
• OGG Vorbis
• FLAC
Thanks to this backdoor I was able to get this setup.. Now it looks a lot more like a tablet =))

For gingerbreak to work though, usb debugging needs to be enabled. Is there any was to enable it?
has anyone had any luck with google market? Amazon app store works great and so does its music player for downloading and playing cloud music. i installed google music but only has offline support. I dont know of a way to authentic a google account. A work around would be great.
Once I enabled USB debugging (twice, no idea why it shows up twice), it mounted properly and showed usb debugging in task bar. SuperOneclick, however, keeps locking up after killing ADB and relaunching it. Tried both standard and shell roots, and ran root both standard and as admin. There appears to be no simple way to tell the nook NOT to enable USB storage when connected, so that may be the issue.
Just in case it's just something with my win7 laptop, I'll try again with ubuntu on another machine.
No good, can't get superoneclick to work anywhere.
trippmcnealy, thanks for the info, it's appreciated.
Quick question: what's the benefit of having a file explorer? APKs seem to install okay with just Launcher Go (so far) so I'm wondering what I can do with a file explorer that I can't do already? Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I'm kinda new to this stuff.
Thanks again for all the help (and that goes for everyone one these boards).
Wow, sorry about that...when I edited my post I must have accidentally removed the link:S
This should do it:

Is there anyway to get back to the page with "Install from unknown sources" again? I can't find a way of getting there through the settings, and I'm curious if it's even accessible otherwise.
