How to Flash :?

You can use SP_Flash_Tool_v3.1332.0.187

You need to log in to 4shared to download the above file. You can register for free, you need not have a premium account.

Flashing is similar for this MTK devices using SP Flash tool.

i need to install recovery on this phone tried a few methods but not working....need Help!!!!!!

Use SP_Flash_Tool_v3.1332.0.187 link in the op and download the stock rom,
while flashing just select the recovery.img in the MT6582M_Android_scatter_emmc and flash.

I am not sure if there is any CWM available for this model yet. You can try Team Win Recovery Project
Else an XDA member suhas.holla kinda made CWM RECOVERY for
MICROMAX A110, Check with him if he has any for this model.

great information, but with Recovery i meant CWM or TWRP will also do....but isn't there any Generic version which can be installed on any device or Does recovery need to be specific for given model.

Not all CWM and TWRP work with all devices, sometimes a cwm of a similar devices may support/work, Its worth trying different CWM/TWRP if you have a stock rom back up with you.. But It is safe to use one which is for the same model.

thanx for quick reply guys......BUT Finally everything is working as smooth as butter.....got my device into bootloop without recovery and backup so had to flash rom from beginning, and after few hit an trial i finally can say that i have fully rooted and recovery installed...just did a nandroid backup of my A114.

so for others having same phone please follow this procedure....
1> take a brand new phone and do first time setup .
2> install ADB drivers to win7 machine and install V Root (English ver is also available) on your pc.
3> connect your phone and let pc install all necessary drivers if some not found update manually....then open v root and follow instructions.
4> when finished phone will reboot and rooted. close v root.
5> download attached file and copy it to the desktop
6> run the exe file 6044.exe from same location. (avast antivirus may give some false positive disable it for a while) and let the program do its job.....IF everything goes fine U'll be rebooted into Carliv Touch Recovery ....and NOW u have fully rooted phone with recovery. Now do what u want to do with it ...Enjoy!!!

Is full touch & aroma FM is working in this version of ctr recovery u have ported.

Hmmmm......bro Touch is not working....aroma is fine but no touch in thr as well .....only volume and power buttons to navigate. Cheers

Same thing happens with me 5 days before that's why I didn't post it.
Also I HV ported cwm for this fine & that's working fine chk it misc android development.

The link works. Its just a public file over-limit. All you need to do is wait and try again even if the adrive show the file over-limit there is a try again link in that over-limit page click it a couple of time or try again after 5-10 minutes you will be able to download.

Well thanks..but im really disappointed .i downloaded the file. And followed the tutorial that u linked . the tutorial said u need a scatter loading file.but sadly there is no scatter loading file in ur rar . u should have provided a noob friendly tutorial

The tutorial is by DR_MOOSAVI, another Xda member. And the scatter file is a .txt file. Like MT65xx_Android_scatter_emmc.txt, it will be in the X5016M_MMX_IND_R03_8Gb_band15.rar file extract the file and open the folder and you will find MT65xx_Android_scatter_emmc.txt file along with the other file like preloader and system.img

You also need sp tools with this SP_Flash_Tool_v3.1332.0.187 version to flash

You are not recommended to install other stock rom on any device the setting may be different even the size of the ram. Please revert back to the stock rom. U can use any MT6582M scatter file it mostly be of the same, but please search for the file in the stock ROM folder and you will find it.
