there is another issue apart from flickering screen: when auto-rotate one it flips 270 degrees... not 90 meaning that on portrait mode you see ok but in landscape mode you see everything upside down. anyway congratulations to all of those who work on this cm9.

i'm guessing the problem with that flickering and the upside down issue is that cm9 sees the screen as a 720p screen (1280x720 instead of a 480x320 screen). as some already said it is FULL HD

guys... first off don't ask specific questions like "does it support italian". it probably does. it's still in development. there are issues before you need to consider even before dialing a phone number... cause you probably can't due to flickering. so wait until it's done or post questions or statements about the development and not specific stuff like language, o music player and so on.

Dude, why he don't simply publish kernel if it'll works??

I share there all what I do and I hope other people will do the same...

Ok, I have compiled my kernel, trying to boot it ;-)

Is it save to flash untested kernel?

Touchscreen is fully working... But we still have blinking screen...

Refresh rate settings should be in libgralloc.
Here is a line from an older post of yours regarding fps
device/samsung/gio/libgralloc/gralloc.cpp:185: warning: missing initializer for member 'private_module_t::fps'
i guess fps stands for frames per second.

ics/libgralloc/framebuffer.cpp
i've read the cpp file on the cm9 git repo.

    here's some report from me

    Tested & Working:
    • RIL
    • proximity
    • touchscreen with multi touch (but it'll give alot of warning on logcat. trying to disable them)
    • gps
    • compass (please test)
    • accelerometer for autorotate
    • 4 pin headset + button (like from samsung)
    • microphone
    • root & busybox
    • call & sms
    • packet data with 2G(GPRS/EDGE) & 3G (UMTS/HSDPA)
    • wifi
    • bluetooth
    • USB mass storage
    • wired & hotspot tether *

      * wired & hotspot tether use 3rd application. u can download from this post's attachment

    Not Working:
    • 3 pin headset (must have ICS source to fix it)
    • hardware acceleration (our gpu libraries from gingerbread is not 100% working on ICS. and qualcomm isnt release libraries for ICS yet)
    • camera (problem with HAL)
    • FM Radio
    • BLN (liblight from gingerbread is not working. need to recompile liblight with some modification for BLN. the problem is i dont have ICS source)
    • find bug? just report it ;)

    NOTE: Start from patch-cm9-v3. i'm not provide move some system app to user app because it make patch size 14mb bigger.
    if you fresh installed this rom (not yet applied patch) and want to free some space on /system partition then you need to install patch-cm9-v2 first and then install the latest patch

    • fix error while charging in off condition. now u can charging when phone turn off

    I have a real life and don't spend my days trawling for spam. If you see spam report it, I will get rid of it asap.

    As for those who keep spamming this thread, well done, you got it closed.
