Possible i must reflash to the old Bootloader and Radio Baseband???

I have both. I solved the root access problem by reinstalling the latest supersu 1.51. This always happens with Franco's 4.3 kernels.

For messaging error, follow my instructions from here:

For root access, settings, developer options, root access, set at least to apps.
Click on Thanks button if it helps.

Hi,
Possibly, the problem is indeed in mms.apk. It happened too with the previous maintainer.
About root, I had root. Both adb and apps are selected. Still is a no-go with Titanium.
Thanks,

I tested for OP the test built and don't have issue with root after setting to root. I solved the MMS issue with the apk I posted and replying from the test build. Suggest you do a reflash, or even re-download. Wiping properly in cwmr and even formatting the system, cache and data partitions may help. Try also rebooting to recovery after the wiping before flashing Rom.
Qualifier, I'm still running the test build, so my suggestions is based on that. Should be no difference from the build from slimrom.

Hi,
I started flashing Slim with wiping data, cache, dalvik and formatting /system. Should be more than enough, I guess.
Do you use Titanium? My problem isn't with root itself, but the program can't do some things that was supposed to do. I mean, it can actually restore my wi-fi access points, or convert apps to system apps (both depend of root in order to succeed), but doesn't seem capable of restoring apps (with or without data).
I believe in you about the mms.apk.

I rebooted to recovery, flashed gApps again and wiped cache/dalvik... It worked for me... Messaging fc'ing all the time though - anyone got a solution for that? (other than using go sms)

Hm, i think i'm doing something wrong, because i only get a bootloop after flashing.
After the first try I redownloadet the rom and checked the hash,
Then i used the WuQ Tool to flash the latest stock rom from google to make sure the problem is not cause throug a previous install. And then i installed root and the custom recovery through the WuQ Tool and bootet once to make sure everythink works and to copy the slimbean rom to the nexus.
After that i bootet to the custom recovery, made a factory reset and flah the rom. Trying to boot and bootloop again.
Any suggestions where the error could be?
Thanks
Do you want a clean install or a dirty one will do?
