ahhh yes you need my kernel it has performance mods that you are missing for one and I don't think his kernel is compatible with sense 4.0

Yeah man beats is always on that's why there's no difference.

I only messed with systemUI and com.HTC.framework.res. neither of which controls beats audio.

So I came from CleanROM to this because Sense 4.0 is really tempting.

It's very slow upon the initial boot. Very unresponsive. But then I noticed you guys saying it needs a few hours to settle in. I guess I should just leave it charging for a while before I try to do anything else?

This is from OP. Just FYI

Setup Notes:
1. Wipe before you attempt to install this rom.
2. Flash as you would normally do any other rom via Recovery Mode.
3. When the process boots you into bootloader be sure to follow through with the kernel installation.
4. Once the ROM boots to the setup screen. Hit the "home" softkey a few times and wait for it to populate the home screen.
5. Goto settings/develop options and disable animations. If the page ghosts on you just click your status bar.
6. During your email setup if the app fc's after it starts loading your email. Simply reboot your device. The change I made isn't taking on the first boot as it should.
6. Enjoy and don't forget to click "Thanks" or even consider donating.

It's not gonna perform like sense 3.6. But it's smooth as helll if you don't expect perfection...

It's not the Rom. Goto the general section. There's a good thread on losing 4g. You have to run a ruu to get it working again. That's what I did. Go check it out

Yeah, this looks and feels rather nice, but I think I've been too spoiled by how well 3.6 works. I'll take a look at this kind of thing again in maybe a few weeks when it has more time to improve. Until then, I'm going to stick to CleanROM. Still, I'm looking forward to seeing this hit prime time.

I know this is still "beta", but has anyone else noticed a substantial amount of lag between flipping between homescreens with either widgets or a lot of apps?

Flashed this about 3 hours ago and boy, what a difference! Very smooth and pretty much lag free, which is very impressive for a sense rom let alone a 4.0 one. Cheers bored!

one issue i ran into is the market force closing on every run, anyone else?

Did you place the file in system/app, set permissions to RW-R-R and reboot?

It works great for me.

It depends what you mean by lag. Switching homescreens not so much but the widgets do reload everytime you scroll to that screen. I think its bee. Like that since Sense 3.6, however, its just more noticiable on this port.

Never...try clearing data for market and see if that helps.

i have my verizon without the new sso is that good or bad lol

and as far as lag i have none whatsoever i am running as smooth as sense 3.6 with the exception of recent apps but no biggie.

bored this is really the best sense 4.0 rom. What can you possible be updating next??? Kernel after ics source is released is like the only thing to make it better i think!!

Really? I had problems with it right after I flashed and was setting everything up. Guess you're a lucky one!

I agree man...Newt gets love because of RIL and Joelz for the base but damn....Bored just killed it in this Rom. It's just THAT good.

I got it bro. Switched it to r/w in root explorer, reboot and waaaalaaaaa it worked!!!! This rom is a 10 out of 10 for me! Straight up awesome job bored! U da man! Thanks 4 the tip on the my verizon app! All is good now!
