Quick question guys, what is the flash process for this ROM? I looked in the OP and didn't really see anything and im coming from an AT&T Atrix 4G. Any help would be appreciated.

***EDIT***

Nevermind me, just saw the flash process a 2nd time reading it through as im such a scrub missing it the 1st time reading.

Very nice!

"I will not support you if you havent installed full ruu"

I mean who ever really needs any support from one of your roms? So thorough.

Reminds of the "as seen on TV" ads. Like the snuggy. "Regular blankets can twist and bind" where the lady is all tangled in her blanket. Like who doesnt know how to use a blanket?

If you need "major" support in a cleanrom you are doing it horribly wrong :)

Thanks for doing what you do...

Scott's ROMs will automatically install a kernel for you. Steps are in the first couple of posts. Baseband (aka radio) can only be updated by running the RUU.exe file. BUT you must relock bootloader in order to use the RUU file. AND the RUU will wipe your phone. Also, either locking or unlocking the bootloader (can't remember which one) wipes your phone too. So be prepared for that.

I've had two different experiences when lock-ruu flash-unlock so can you tell me this: what exactly gets wiped from your phone when doing the whole process? Because one time I had everything wiped including internal storage and the second time was just stuff that would normally get wiped when doing a factory restore (like when you wipe for a Rom flash)

EVERYTHING gets wiped except for EXTERNAL storage. So if you have something in INTERNAL storage you need to back it up.

I do not see the steps in the first few posts of this thread...can someone please link the post.

Maybe I am just going blind.

DLing now. Then offline to install since I use my ReZound to access the net with my puter. Once (considering I do everyting right), will be back on and throw some loot your way.

Seems like a lit of work, but will be worth it. Nice to wake up to your ROM Scott.

Wish me luck, here we gooooooo.....

Oh, BTW, I take it the radios are with the DL, correct?

They are not there. Someone needs to write up an easy to follow tutorial. Unfortunately I am not that someone :(

But....

Its bascially like this...

Download the leaked RUU and name it PH98IMG.zip (keeping in mind it already has a .zip extension) then copy to SD card. Do not download the pre-rooted! This will do nothing for you!

Relock boot loader with this command in DOS: fastboot oem lock

Reboot to bootloader so it scans the SD card for the new PH98IMG.zip you just put that and tell it to flash. It will take about 5 minutes of just scanning so that is normal. ONce it finishes you need to reboot to bootloader AGAIN so it completes.

Now HTC Dev unlock again

Now install custom recovery (preferred Amona Ra)

Now copy ROM to SD card and remember to delete the PH98IMG.zip that you placed there before.

Reboot to recovery and wipe all data / factory reset

Install zip...

yeah i thought it was funny too. my wife, not so much. lol

guess thats what i get for living in the country

Yeah, I can imagine...

Its not that hard. The worst part was running the RUU. That was just nerve wracking and time consuming but very simple. You have to run the RUU twice. Then unlock and after RUU completes and then recovery then ROM.

Can anyone tell me if they have issues with their SD card not being seen as storage in root explorer or by your computer .
After running the RUU last night, I reinstalled one of the roms based on the old leak and I lost the ability to access my external SD card unless I was in recovery and mounting USB . Had to flash back up of the RUU stock rom and it was fixed so just leery of flashing anything right now ;)

Thats because all the older ROMS had work arounds in them for the lack of proper firmware. So if you flash any thing prior to CleanROM 4.0 on the new firmware that will happen and other bad things.

If you flash 4.0 then you will have everything working.

IM going to bed for real this time.

    Alternate Kernels

I have created a flashable 3.13.607.5 Kernel and a flashable 3.14.605.5 Kernel for the ROM.

Some people feel that the 3.13.607.5 kernel gave better battery and cooling than the latest kernel.

Feel free to download and test for yourself!

These are in old school method as to make one simple step for everyone. This also resets mainver to 1.00.000.0 :D

    Instructions
    1. Download to root of SD Card
    2. Reboot to Recovery
    3. Flash Zip
    4. Phone will reboot to hboot
    5. Press power one time so it will scan the SD Card
    6. Install boot.img when prompted
    7. Reboot when prompted

    Download the 3.13.605.7 kernel HERE

    Download the 3.14.605.5 kernel HERE

700+ downloads in 7 hours and I have 12 thanks. Im not complaining... But really?
