It never fails to wake when double tap (at least for me).
BTW I'm on M8 single SIM and using stock kernel that come with the ROM. I know it's a bit glitchy when using other kernel.

Stock Kernel but Dual Sim here and "DTT Wake" doesn't work for me with settings which you've suggested :(

*Note: I must admit that it worked on Resurection Remix Rom 5.8.0 which was based on CM 14.1 for 8th of December build

@hokiealumnus couple issues found with crDroid 2.0:

-not closed Android Calling app once you hit "hang up" button (buttons like "dialup", "audio", etc. are greyed out though app is not closed after ending call) as the result there is a dull sound for BT headphones which think that you are still in a call. So I had to restart my phone to remove this issue
-Audio is not switched to Media Player (Poweramp) once "hang up" action was made
*Note: I've just cleaned cache and data for "Settings" and will retest

Results after retest:

-Still issue with dull sound from BT headphones is heard due to non closed "caller"/dialer built in Google app with "hanging up" message ... > Clearing "Phone" Google app and "Settings" cache\data solved an issue after restart of the device

Device: HTC One M8 Dual Sim

Can I know your reasons to chose this rom over the rest? Like RR, Xeon etc? Just curious, doesn't mean to compare the roms or something.

I tried almost all ROMs because I need to test the compatibility with my Sense Home mod and all ROM is a beauty on its own. It just a matter of personal preferences.

I find zephyr with crDroid kernel is the smoothest among all (but not with its own kernel that come with the ROM) but it lack of many tweaks & mods that I need.

So, I like this ROM more because its smoothness, battery friendly, tweaks & mods are fit my personal setup. I don't need 3rd party app to change vibrator intensity, OMS work beautifully, dt2w never fail to work (to name a few)

This ROM also lack of some mod like no charging sound (even selected) but I don't use this, so not a big thing to me and few other thing I guess as I don't use them so I don't really check (I check when someone reported problem or bug then see whether I need that feature or not).

Most important is enjoy the ROM that fit your requirements. Not everyone has same setup on same ROM. Not every ROM will work the same for every one.

As per my knowledge crDroid uses stock cm kernel. Zephyr have Team-M8 kernel.

Guys anyone know how to fix this dull sound due to "hanging up" action via default Google "Phone" app?

I've cleared cache\cookies on "Phone" and "Settings" and nothing helped :(
