Yes I tried. Will not totally rule out that I did something wrong as this is totally new territory to me.

@ricky886 updater-script file? Do you mean a functional CM 10.2? Do not have one. I shared what I was doing to try and fix error 7. The link explained the problem.

I think there are deeper problems that we have not got to yet. If we all share what we find hopefully we can come up with a solution

Development is going on slowly. Most effort is likely to be moved to CM 11.0. I hope we all can have a kitkat together soon

About CM10.1

Current progress:
- Video Playback fixed
- NFC fixed

Bugs:
- RIL
- WiFi
- Audio is faster than it should
- Video recording (untested)
- Camera preview (and after reopening the camera, it can't connect to the HW anymore)
- Occasional hot reboot if you lock the screen, then trying to unlock it
- Apollo can only play music if you select the track, close the app, then reopen it, and choose the track again

What works:
- Screen
- Touch
- Buttons
- Sensors
- Video Playback
- NFC
- Bluetooth
- GPS
- Audio (with the mentioned bug)
- Camera (buggy)
- etc.

Today's progress. Not too much, at least I've fixed the RIL isn't loading problem (but it still doesn't work, I'll check, why not), and now I'm a bit stuck, so I've asked somebody to help me.

Thanks to arco's help, we now have the CM's official msm8930-common kernel ported to Express.

This fixed several things:

- Audio works as it should (headset makes the phone laggy, and the sound isn't routing to it, needs some check)
- WiFi works
- RIL works
- Apollo bug fixed (track plays for the first time also properly)

I wasn't able to check the camera, cause I haven't got a CM build atm, so I've tried my kernel, with the Galaxy S4 Mini's CM10.1.

But, if it works, what's left:
- Headset issue
- Lock-unlock hot reboot issue

So I'll just think of this as a sign that CM is pretty close, and nothing more.

P.S. I have been getting a few messages, not only here on XDA but also on my other social accounts, about how the sender wants to be a prerelease tester. I informed them about your decision to iron things out before you release a ZIP into the wild.

It has been very quiet, i gather there is no work done on cm, or have i missed something along the way, i feel like buying a different phone, not that i can afford it, but I'm beginning to wonder if we will get any further advanced, 4.1 is getting a little left behind.

So far @szezso is very close, the only bug is the camera, I've already asked him to release his current build and he agreed to do so after implementing arco's commits.
