Great rom. Low on initial internal storage (about 204mb for my fresh install with partitioned sd) but with a little moving of the dalvik cache to sd and removing of apps and widgets I don't use, I've managed to get all of my apps installed (about 40 or so) and still have over 165mb of internal storage. I probably could trim it down more but is there really a need? Anyways, I just wanted to comment on how smooth this rom is and I will be looking forward to the addition of a tweaks menu and swipe away notifications mod as mentioned earlier... and if not mentioned could I kindly request more quick settings like auto sync, auto brightness, volume controls, vibrate and silent modes, and restart if possible? Thanks for the hard work on this rom. Best sense 3.0 rom I've tried on my Evo. Looking forward to your updates.

Just a question, why is there no system app folder. You have all system apps in /data/derp/app. Are the framework and other things using up all of the system partition. Still learning so I have to ask. Would.running the apk's through Tommy's au tool optimize them? If so i will do that to free up more space. My Rosie apparently went from 12 mb to 1.8 after being recompiled in au.

Seeing how I prefer performance over eye candy, I made a clock widget that shouldn't flip every time it loads. You know, the hour and two minutes it is always behind when it loads. Could someone try it out for me?

I've flashed the 5x5 app drawer twice still 4x4. What could I be missing? Cleared dalvik before flashed both times.

The beats audio flashable flashes rather quickly, in like 1 1/2 second and says its done, and i didnt notice any difference in audio, and i went through the /system folders and no files where changer or added so im guessing it didnt flash... Ive tried 3 times now, any suggestions?

im runnin in a zero coverage area at my house so i run in airplane mode and use wifi ( use groove ip to get phone calls and google voice again to get texts) ya think there is anyway to keep the airplane mode thing from poppin up on the lock screen aka a little more silently ? just thought since ya know the build pretty well.

if u mean the lockscreen notification of airplane mode, the only way is a bit complicated and requires some m10 editing, but it can be done (im 99% positive, that 1% is unsureness cause Ive never done it)

I will update this with more mods and any that people are willing to contribute.10Changelog for D3rp r3Dux:
- removed language files from some apps and recompiled them as a result freed up 80+ mb of space in system/app
- bumped internal storage from 120mb to 200mb, and 270mb on ext-partition from my testing.
- optimized some apks and pngs, freed up another 10mb.
- optimized bootup/down bootanimation
- bumped system memory allocation from 18mb to 60mb
- removed a couple lib files that I thought were unnecessary
- removed CIQ files
- removed Beats Audio files(was causing DSP manager to FC when using equalizer)
- fixed the stock Browser from crashing when webpage had embedded Flash video
- turned Unknown Sources on, disable haptic feedback by default
- took out the a2sd and replaced it with Dark Tremors a2sd(flash the newest Underworld kernel for ext4 support, will probably bake in next release. Thanks ca1ne)
- faster transitions/ made spinners smoother and faster
- updated a few apps most notably latest Google Play and added Es File Explorer
- added LeeDroid Tweaks(reorder quicksettings/hide recent apps, switch volume wake or skip track and bunch other stuff see for yourself.)
I was going to add the rest of these other standalone mods in myself but all the apps ThickLizard provided got them in. Made my job a bit easier
- mods include: Mms compression disabled + sms backup, WiFi Hotspot Hack, Smooth Scroll, 30 Step Incremental Volume, CRT animation
(I know you guys wanted swiping notifications. First attempt was a no-go and didn't make it to RC1..)

i think i'm pretty close to getting most of the must have functions into this rom and keeping the base mostly stock. i got swipe notifications in, ext-4 support baked in from the Underworld 8 kernel(credits to ca1ne). and i think the rom is less laggier and smooth because of it. watch the vid and tell me how it runs.
it still has 200mb of internal space and i think 270mb on a2sd last time i checked. haven't tested. anyways it's almost a wrap and it'll be up to Savoca to releaseit... or add more things to it if he so chooses. i give the rom back to him. i tried to improve it the best way i know how and i know i can still do more to it given some time. i may make a spin-off rom using this base but i don't know, we'll see...

I confirm MD5 and it matches but everytime i get stuck on splash. Ive tried using wipe all zips and manually wiping each option but i get stuck on splash. Im not flashing anything else just the rom no kernels ect. Im using amon ra style recovery
