hi, I do not see this problem, because the ril that comes with the rom does not have any type of problem: good signal and data connection the same.
I'm waiting news, as there are the news post here on the thread

But in my case the ril that came with the ROM does not match the radio. Please see the screen shot. Waiting for your advice.

you have problems with this ril? I do not think you have problems, you should work fine.

albino posted again very clearly, that die RIL coming with the ROM (which is 4.0.0024) ist fine. and he posted that changing the RIL makes no sense since ICS/JB. I'm confused.
the ROM runs with 4.0.0024, but in my experience/feeling it's running better with 4.0.0037 ... (ok, it's voodoo .. )
on my sensa getril is running again (see the attached screenshot, I'm running the Apr 23 build of albinoman 4.2.2) - also many people posted on there sensa it's not running.

but I'm confused, because there is a strong tone in the 4.2.2-thread against getril:
so - I want to ask you stempox as an expert with RIL: is getril senseless using a JB-ROM ? (and if yes: why?)

hi, the problem is not the operating system, the basic problem is getril (free) seems to have the empty databases, so consequently the application does not work, regardless of which version of Android we have on the phone.
with regard to the 'importance or otherwise of association radio / ril, if you read a few pages in OP is strung.

Bit of a noob question, but is there anything in the radio, DISH or RCdata that could affect the microphone?

I flashed a new Radio and RCdata recently and the next day found that my microphone was not working... it could be pure coinsidence but I just thought I'd check. I have tried installing another radio but it hasn't fixed the issue.

hi, this is coincidence, the radio is not the cause of the microphone.
