Had a few random reboots, but otherwise a really solid effort. I will have a poke around tomorrow to see if I can help with fixes. Nice work!

Wow, this stuff looks amazing! Works great after playing with it for half an hour. I noticed that some apps don't work quite well (calendar, earth, movie studio, etc.) but i understand that's not your first priority :) Keep up the good work!

Strange thing on the mic front: Using voice search, the device picks up my voice and recognises my commands, so the mic is working. Kind of explains why there is no sound either, because even on speaker phone there is nothing coming through, but the problem is specific to calling, not the hardware. Analysing the logcat from a call now to try and see what the problem is.

Is it in 1.1 that the mic doesn't work? I believe it was working in 1.0 (I've had it working on my phone but not sure if it was in the 1.0 release). I must have screwed it up by mistake.

It will probably be something to do with /etc if anyone is looking into it. Just need to make sure the sound related files in there are all for the vivo.

As I say, the mic is working, just not on a call, and no sound comes through on a call even on loudspeaker

Okay I got it, just used the wrong acdb files.

Unzip the attached to /etc/firmware and it should be good to go.

    - USB tethering
    - Camera

Use Clockworkmod recovery 5.0.2.0 OR 4EXTrecovery 2.2.7 RC5 to flash.

The developer or the OP is not responsible for any bricked device or bugs.flash it at your own risk.

I am looking at EGL fixes & calendar sync fix, will let you know how I get on

EDIT: Calendar Fix is easy as pie, just flash the latest version of GAPPS from here: http://download.clockworkmod.com/test/gapps-ics-20111128.zip

EDIT2: Push the launcher from here to /system for a smoother experience and that ability to switch off the search box, courtesy of LordClockan

EDIT3: Updated Market Here (3.3.12) not sure what it improves over 3.3.11, but it's nice to be up to date :D On an more annoying note, borked my install trying to fix HW Accel and didn't backup, so have to reinstall before I can try another fix

I think this fixes HW acceleration, the UI feels a lot snappier to me but I don't want to say 'fixed it!' till I have a second opinion. Could be placebo. If you don't notice any differances, could you try manually pushing the files before reporting back (update zip may not work, been a while since I have to make an update script)

As always backup first, I am not responsible for you bricking your device or the impending robot uprising (all hail our shiny overlords).

Hey bro I have used the components from the dhd ics and from here and there, its fixed quite of things will post a complete rom ..my hw accelaration seems fixed still I will try urs if u don't mind I will integrate it in the rom .+ this rom is ext3 I already have built it over ext4 ..will post the rom in a while good to see you active after a long time
