Hm... WSM on 4.1.24 just kill the system as i've tested earlier
And kill everyone port of MIUI
Could you elaborate on what is killed when using WSM Tools? I have it installed as we speak, been installed for days. I've yet to experience a single issue with WSM or the modules loaded, providing your WSM Tools and it's framework are kept up-to-date of coarse (since new WSM releases extend compatability to latter MIUI Versions). The Mi-Tools module at present hasn't released an update to support 4.2.7 as of yet (dev's are probably busy) but other available Modules within it's repository including Xposed modules work fine.
As previously mentioned since new WSM releases extend compatability to latter MIUI Versions, it can also break compatibility with older MIUI releases as they (Burgerz & Rovo89) adopt their framework for the code changes XIAOMI implement; If a particular WSM Tools works for your MIUI version and you're prompted to update, simply don't as the changes made may not be relevant to your build. It's just a case of trial and error, usually observed via a bootloop.
Should this happen perform the following via ADB within Recovery to save you having to wipe data:
[
ENSURE SYSTEM IS CHECKED AND MOUNTED - Easy and simple procedure which changes dependant on your Recovery]
Code:
Adb remount
Adb shell rm -rf /data/data/pro.burgerz.wsm.manager
The above command will remove WSM related framework and therefore restore normal boot operation.
If you can provide me with some additional information or a logcat to accompany your claim I will gladly assist with rectifying any issues you have experienced. Otherwise to me, WSM operates as should.
