as of right now, noone has a baseband.zip. the only way to get the baseband onto any rom you want is to flash the leaked gb using kdz firmware updater. then you will retain baseband on any rom you install afterwards.

@ doniqcc, any chance you can whip up a quick black mms apk to throw our way? the stock white background makes me sick.

Np just hopefully it won't give some ppl problems like it did before on the first leak.

Yes, that is a bug in the new update. You can dl Steven Lin's Android GB keyboard free in the market and use that one instead. Just search Steven Lin and it will come right up

you using the new baseband? also you should always go to clear sky for the first lock.

nah man I'm not using the new baseband. I just wiped and flashed this from the EB FR I was running.

But that makes me feel better though, For now I'll just attribute my lack of gps insta-lock to the baseband. I'll flash the new one when someone makes a flashable zip of it... and make sure to be outside for first boot after flash.

On a different note, I have never had battery life like I am getting on this rom. I simply can't believe it, it lasts almost twice as long as my G2 on cm7 2.3.4.

Took it off the charger at 1pm yesterday, it is now 9:20am (20 hours later) and I have 10% left. I use my phone alot as well... music, calling, text, maps, games, reading news etc...

I put my phone on vibrate but it never vibrates when I receive a text message. Is it just me who is experiencing this?

I got at least 1 day and 3 hours out of this, some of it standby. I love EB 2.3.4, seeing all the tweaks brought over to this one is awesome. All in all, very good ROM.

I'm having trouble to connect the GPS, I have two g2x and the one I use it's for my bad luck, the refurbished serie, the other it's not, the other phone it's working better than before, before freezes like 5 or more times a day, now only two times lol but GPS connects right away!!! ... my refurbished phone works pretty good, no freezing at all, installed GB flashing mode, since I can't do the update normally, but GPS won't connect at all and sometimes the network signal disappeared for 5 seconds and come back. Might be a compatibility problem? Since I'm using the refurbished version phone, and this update is for the other model, what might be?

Install the app adfree, flash the attached flashable zip, or rename hosts.tar to hosts (no file extension) and push to /system/etc.

For those using Audiogalaxy, please open the host file as text and search\remove any references to audiogalaxy.com, or the app wont work

There are too many individual builds for people to easily maintain a theme for each one now

. However, you can customize the build EASILY using the online theme kitchen (known as UOT). search google for it, you cant miss it.
