froyo fast

sorry for an off topic question.. does your froyo fast and lite mod has english in it? I would like to try it.

yes, i think all languages included...
the base is a German O2 sbf, so if needed, you can flash another baseband over OpenRecovery...

and if you dont find any app that is only available in your country, you must change "ro.build.description" and "ro.build.fingerprint" in build.prop, but i think there is no need to

next step is to make my MiniMod multilingual...
first i try to make the Menu multilingual, but its a lot of work cause there are many files to edit.

at the moment i have edit most of the scripts that the menu use values, but i will take a second look at the scripts. so i think it will take some time to provide a multilingual Version.

i have a english and german translation done, but my biggest problem at the moment is, that i cant use special chars like äöü (for german) and also some other chars that may be importent for other languages.
if i wont get it work there will be only a english version

-FuFu-, don't get me wrong - I admire your dedication to keep working on your Mod for so long.

But I don't think it's useful to make a translation.

99% percent of all guides are in English, and if someone has questions he will most likely have to post them here in English and also will receive an answer in English.

It's already hard to describe the location of some Android settings when one is using the ROM in his mothertongue and has to find the equivalent menu points in English.

i know

how you see my english is sooo bad

but the think to translate it to other languages is, that the user understand the menu

and i just provide german and english, the other languages can be make by the users itself...
for debugging i need the english translation...

also i only will translate the menu, all outputs will be english, its to much work to edit all files, and also i wont edit the recovery binary.
so the languages are addons

btw, we cant use extended chars like "éçàùâäêëûüîïôöñòìàè" so there will be some problems with some languages... if someone will provide a language file, just use the english file and edit it... and if it wont work with the translations, i will stay on english

a french translation is almost done, and i test it if there are some problems...

its just beta and not all menu points will be translatet, but its only for testing, so everyone can make his own lang file...
i will try to add all menu points to the lang files, but at the moment i dont have the time to do this...

if someone want to add the missing menu points, just do it

all needed files are in the first .zip, just add values, its easy to do, but its a lot of work...

Dear FuFu,
I also feel that Eierschik is right about spoiling your valuable time for irrelevant translation.And your English is not at all that much ununderstandable.Thanks however for your continued efforts.

first language is english in OR for me... my english is bad, i know

but google translate dont speaks good english if you translate from german

the multilingual feature is just a feature... its just a value thing, i add values to the scripts and add all values to 1 file to include it... so for me its not more work

but for me its a feature that may some people want to use, there are people all over the world who wont speak english and for this people is may good, to have or in there language, my or was traslated to france some month ago, but to much updates, and now its just easyer to translate

and i will still update my mod

I have an old stock nandroid. But when I tried to restore it. I got MD5 mismatch. skiping.... in all the steps...

any idea?

how do I mount /system partition? There's no option for that.......I need to mount it because of a tweak that requires it.
