Android 4.2.2 App data to SD without root
So I got the shiny new HTC Butterfly S two days back and the first thing I did was to check out the 'Apps' section of setting. My heart sank when I saw there was no button to MOVE the app to SD card. Shockingly, my previous phone was HTC Desire 500 (4.1) and it had this option.
Searching around the forums, I found that this ability might be impossible on Android 4.2 or higher without rooting. I don't want to root right now. I used the ADB setinstalllocation command method method on some forums, and while it completed OK, it didn't make a difference to the actual installation of apps.
So, my only request is a definitive answer: is it possible without root on Jelly Bean 4.2 or not?
