Sweet, the 8/14 build is up 5 hours early and it's 4.3. Don't forget to upgrade your gapps!

Anyone running 10.2 yet? I'm debating on sticking with 10.1 so that I can take advantage of aj's badass kernel.

Running smoothly for me right now. Haven't found any issues yet with my most common apps.
EDIT: settings>developer options>root access>apps/or apps and ADB fixes root issues. Focal blows (reboot to fix camera). Play store, other camera apps, GPS/maps, Facebook, Ti Backup/Helium and other apps I have are working. I'm gonna let it run.

Prey crashed as soon as I punched in my unlock pin. Other than that it's running well.

Edit: focal crashed after taking the first picture then couldn't connect to the camera when I reopened the app. Also the icon for Wi-Fi and mobile signal are staying grey instead of changing to blue once getting a steady signal.

I have no root... Like the menu is there in setting but apps just think I'm unroofed. I did a clean install (formatted /system /data and /cache then installed 10.2 8/14 and new gapps) anyone else have this issue?

I have the same debate. 10.2/4.3 caused a lot of problems. Most Google apps have errors, but clearing data seems to help. I can't download nor update anything from the play store because of a lovely RPC:s-5:aec-0 error. Cleared data in Google play and framework and a few other core apps to no avail.

Yeah I'm already back on 10.1. Roughly 20 of my apps were 'lost' after the update and many would crash after opening. I'm going to let them work a few more bugs out before trying again.

Well I fixed my problem by deleting my Google account, clearing app data of play, framework and download manager, re-adding the account, and the rebooting.

Try enabling root for apps and adb, that fixed root issues for me on my n7.

For those having fc problem did you guys flash the new gapps 4.3. I had the same issue but after flashing the new gapp solve the problem. Also caming from 10.1 to 10.2 you have to do clean install. And when you reinstall from back up just install user app. No system apps reinstall should be done

After a full day on 8/14 CM 10.2...

Only two issues:
1) I had to turn on root access for apps. (Thanks billyjed!)
2) Focal crashes after a photo and the camera is inaccessible to Focal or other apps, until a reboot. Other camera apps work nominally.
...I haven't found any of my 100+ apps that don't work.
Great work CM!!!

Having some odd graphics glitches where part/all of the screen turns black. When opening an email with com.android.email the whole screen, except the message area, turns black then most of the screen fills in properly after a couple seconds, but the email title stays black unless I touch it. Similar problem in Alarm Droid, though I can't get it to happen predictably right now, when setting the options the whole list of options would go black leaving just the ad at the bottom and the status bar and the alarm title at the top, if I scrolled through where the list would be it would show up, but then vanish again.

Otherwise 10.2 is running well for me so far.

Anyone having issues with apps randomly disappearing out of folders on the homescreen?

Guess I should be more specific: This is on the 8-16 10.2 nightly.

ATTENTION: THIS IS JUST A PREVIEW. MAY CONTAIN A LOT OF BUGS!
    NO SUPPORT!!!

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.1 (JB), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

First time installing CyanogenMod 10 to your Galaxy S II, or coming from another ROM:
    - Make sure you're running a proper working CWM Recovery
    - Copy GApps and CM10 ZIPs to your internal SDCard
    - Boot into Recovery
    - Flash CM10 zip from internal SDCard
    - Flash GApps zip from internal SDCard
    - DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET (otherwise your device will be stuck at boot)
    - Reboot
    - Don't restore Apps using Titanium Backup!

Upgrading from earlier version of CyanogenMod 10:
    - Copy CM10 ZIP to your internal SDCard
    - Boot into Recovery
    - Flash CM10 zip from internal SDCard
    - Reboot

    KNOWN ISSUES:
    • Everything is broken until proven otherwise.
    • Known broken things include:
    • Mediascanner derps hard for many people, eating 100% CPU for 30-40 minutes on boot.
    • Missing many CM10 features
    • NFC totally untested
    • Anything broken on I9100 will be a problem on I777 too
    • Screenshots are from I9100. I'm lazy, and I777 isn't any different

You want to live on the bleeding edge, you're probably gonna get cut

    Update -
Good news: I found out the source of the problem and built a fix this morning.
Bad news: Severe thunderstorms yesterday afternoon knocked out my cable modem. I'm unable to upload a build or even the fix until it comes back.

RELEASE PULLED. I just discovered from user reports in the N7000 thread that this has the capability of triggering the infamous eMMC brickbug on installation. This is far less likely on I777 since almost no one is running intramfs-repacked UCLE5, but those people could experience severe unrecoverable problems. I will reopen this thread once I reimplement that fix.

To be clear - the bug only affects initial flashing. If you are already running CM10, you are safe. If you are not already running CM10, DO NOT flash the release unless you are running a known safe kernel. Right now, I will only guarantee safety with the pulled release if you start from CM9.

Unless something comes up Monday evening and I'm too busy to build, I'll try to get the first I777 test build out monday evening for 4.2.1.

Benefit of the wait for you guys? N7000/I9100 users are guinea pigs with ****ty builds that have all sorts of broken stuff. First I777 build will have all of the big issues resolved. :p
    42
4.2 test build within the next few days, depending on my availability/time.

Finally I think we've got the graphics breakthrough we need... just needs to be beat on/polished a bit.
