Hello,

I've reset my phone a few times and it has removed ALL files (photos / music / movies) etc. which is great.

I rooted my phone a couple of days ago and am still playing. I did the same thing as usual tonight, factory reset within Settings.

This time the files were NOT removed. Is this normal once the phone is rooted?

If this is correct on a rooted device, what is the best way to do a complete factory reset, removing all files etc?

Thanks!

Factory reset does not erase the SD inside the phone. To do that you have to go into fastboot and do it from there. It will wipe everything on the phone including your custom recovery. I think.
