I have the 5mm sensor as well- no problems here! Using the white one, if that matters at all.

Yes, the home button is recessed. However, I don't use a button, and still can press the home button fine-- I just have to press a bit harder. So the answer to your question is sure, you can get a home button if you want. If you don't just know it's not really that big of a problem to deal with
I didn't use one mainly because I couldn't find a decently-priced white sticker... seems like it's the only color not sold by itself :[

Ordered a white one over the weekend.

Getting my SIII next week so hopefully the glass comes sooner rather than later.

This might b nice if you could replace the original glass with it but sticking it on top of what's here already, idk. What about the home button, seems like it would be a little sunk down and maybe difficult to push.
