Anyone do it yet? If so, is it essentially the same as putting an Evo on PP? Also, any opinions on whether $250 for a gently used Shift is a good deal?
Thanks
Kim

Not sure if the OP still cares but I have an EVO Shift on PP, but at the moment, I only have voice and text (SMS) messaging working. Data, and MMS are broken as is the ERI/PRL so it complains that I am roaming even though I am not. I think some of the guys on HoFo have it working too. Once I get everything working, I am planning on putting together a n00b friendly guide on HoFo.

Is a HoFo related in an way to a MoFo?

It would be nice to see this phone on cricket for my area but the loss of 4g even though I don't have access to it any ways here in Dayton Ohio would upset me

I've had an Evo Shift running on a CricKet line for about 2 months or so, all features activated except 4G of course. Paid $300 total (Phone, Flash, Number Swap) I purchased it from an authorized CricKet dealer. Could always check your local craigslist ads if you're really interested..

I have a shift on boost mobile, and I love it!!! everything works(except 4g of course) even MMS works. I scored mine for 200... I actually bid on two with bad esn on ebay one night, hoping I would at least win one, and I actually won both, so I have one that I could sell to you for 200 shipped. i was gonna put it on ebay, but havent gotten around to it yet because I have been busy with school. PM me if you would like to buy it, I have paypal... lmk

I am having the same problem with roaming. Did you get yours working properly? I tried searching the guide you mentioned on HoFo, but I couldn't find it. Would you mind pointing me to it?
