Default KIN TwoM FTP Client

I was digging around in the PROGRAMMITT menu. And found an FTP client, and decided to test it with my old website. I was able to download a file to my KIN, but I wasn't able to send a file from my kin. Downloaded this file: http://www.newclan.ucoz.net/hope.png
Screenshots:

Apparently the KIN downloads files into "\FtpTestContent" folder.

When I try to upload a file from my KIN, it shows this error:

I think this can be exploitable.. at least it allows unauthorized download to the phone, that's a start.

FTPTestcontent/Contacts...

Can you try downloading a xml file with contacts via ftp and perhaps you would be able to import contacts this way. GET the file and then proceed into the hidden menu and pressing the upload contacts button. Maybe this would "un-grey" the button. Just a thought.

it says "contacts" because i set the mobile file name to be contacts.. sorry for the confusion. The folder is "FTPTestContant/", "contacts" is a file which was originally "hope.png"

E-mailing it to yourself and ftp downloading are two different things. When e-mailing, if device doesn't support format then it won't download. When FTP downloading, device will download any file, unless its corrupted or something like that.

There is currently no way to "download" contacts to this phone. Sorry.

I know there isnt a way. But if you find what type of file that the phone supports, then it will work. When kin had the "Spot" or the backup service, the phone downloaded contacts. We just have to find out HOW it did it.
