might be a better vid somewhere, but i'd ilke to make a request which i'd like to inlcude as an addon to the honeycomb theme if possible, either way, see what you can do but it would be hard to make me switch off of this helix:

I already have this bootanimtion. On my phone and I changed it to this ssick helix one but if u want the honeycomb one all u have to do is download frankensines ebee13 rom and extract it. Go into system media and take the bootanimation.zip. download root explorer take the bootanimation.zip and paste it into your system/media reboot and u have the honeycomb boot up. No flashing needed

If you want to keep your current animation around just use something like root explorer and change the name of your current zip file from bootanimation.zip to something like bootanimation.bak or anything else and you can always go back by restoring the file name.

Also, amosher, that honeycomb animation is awesome. I think it looks like good inspiration for something cool. Also I am working on a shutdown animation too to go with the helix.

I just installed it on my Bonsai 4.0 Epic and it works just fine. One small complaint....the graphics/text look slightly fuzzy/blurry to me, even from a couple of feet away. Great boot up animation though. I'll keep it on my phone regardless.

You are totally right about the text. The main problem is that I have to output it at 240x400 to get it down to even 7.5 MB, because at maximum resolution it's 20 MB and moves to slowly to get through half the animation before the phone starts up

However, once I get the shutdown finished I will be replacing those few frames with the higher res ones so those won't be so fuzzy and it should only be very slightly bigger.
