DONATE TO ME
Question View bml dump contents?

Hey guys! Thanks to the good help of kraka23 and the forum I have succesfully rooted my phone and (think) that I have dumped my bml6 and bml7, via the "dd" shell command WillingMagic provided, correctly. I will be uploading these files soon but I would like to see what are the contents. I know this is the goal of the thread so I was wondering how you guys do to examine the files I've ran "file" on them with the following results

me@myPC:~/5510Part$ file bml6.img
bml6.img: data
me@myPC:~/5510Part$ file bml7.img
bml7.img: DOS executable (device driver)

I've tried mounting the files with no success I guess they are not common file partitions. I just want to take a quick look to check that there's no sensitive information in those files.
I'm not a complete newbie to linux but still my knowledge is fairly limited.

I don`t think using "file" to identify content of block memory is good idea.

I think we are clear about bml 6 and bml 7 they are not important, usualy clear partition.
Currently I need bml5, bml11 and bml14.
Please attach file`s bml file to post or give links

Yes this information is quite useful, but now we should make new clockwork/open recovery. If we release first working rom, then we can play with kernel and low-level hardware coding[ASM/C].
