There is file named nvm_SP6160_MODEM_V09.23.03_0f104f9d.cfg in the new firmware, I have never seen something like this before.

how do we flash this?

Why flash if you don't know what it does? JMK works fine without it anyway

Seems like it tells the tab the location of various modem related configs. It might help us with enabling the voice on tmobile USA tab.
Samsung has never given us anything like this before. Now tab is almost at the end of it's life cycle because tab 2 will be coming out soon. May be samsung gave the opensource community what they were holding back.

I don't think it tells the tab anything, but it does provide an interesting "read" (more of a pick through)

The brief Google searches I was able to conduct tell me little about what it all means, but if someone could enlighten me on how to dump memory addresses from the Tab I'll do more research

Is it at the end of it's lifecycle? They are still to release the wifi only model.

There is no "Tab 2" - there's the 7", 8.9" and 10.1".

Dave

Wifi model Will have a single core processor?
From what I have read lifecycle of singlecore processor smartphone devices is over, next version will have dual core.

Wifi model (P1010) seems to have Texas Instruments OMAP processor. At least so it looks like from the leaked ROM.

The HTC Flyer will have a single core processor and it isn't even out yet!

Dual core isn't a panacea - there will still be a market for single core devices for a while.

Dave

Dual core processors for PC's have been around for years and you still get PC's with single core processors

can any one tell me who to flash the nvm_SP6160_MODEM_V09.23.03_0f104f9d.cfg in the JMK rom?
I tried to flash the JMK rom with Odin. But the update failed by transfering the modem.bin file to the SGT. I hope that has something to do with the nvm_SP6160_MODEM_V09.23.03_0f104f9d.cfg and some one can help me
