Default Gingerbread on DS7

With the CWM available for DS7, I am planning to try to see if I can build a gingerbread to DS7.

Currently machine is still running at home before I left for work, after fixing the issue from using Froyo camera drivers. Hopefully I can have something bootable and generally running on Simulator by tonight.

If so, will someone folks here brave enough to join me trying bricking this babe using gingerbread?

Or we succeed using gingerbread. =)

Anyway, I am not a "certified" dev but I just want to contribute a little to this community.

graffynyc (sorry if miss spell) . which stage are you at now?I remembered you are pretty far into this already?

yeah good luck! No one has gotten as far as dj steve and me porting this over.. you'll see you'll get a build to build.. but the boot image needs to be seriously tweaked. Me and DJ Steve were close.. We were just set back due to my device getting bricked. Once I get it back we are going to try again and pick up where we left off.. I can tell you this.. it wont boot without some serious serious hacking.. Steve and I got pretty close but no cigar yet..

Got ya, thanks!

The first step to debug is to log. Is there a good way to log the boot process even it wont complete booting yet?
