Exactly! It's unmodified HTC release of GB in zip flashable file via bootloader.
I hope rmk will pick this up and release rooted version ;)

Does anyone know, what means the S between Gingerbread and HTC? I can't figure it out.

you and me both, Im a little scared to use it until then. i would rather not risk losing my SU.

It's working fine with CM7-RC3, didn't do any speedtests tho
