increase sdcard speed?

I just came across this in another xda forum:

Would this work on the gtab? Would negative effect if any this would have?

Now this looks interesting. As I am getting ready to reformat and start over with my Gtab, might give this a try first.

One of the guys on the thread posted:

"Thank you I've been looking for this usually my gallery will fc before it can load everything especially after a reboot, this more than fixed the prob. When I get on my laptop I'll hit up the thanks button for sure lmao "

I wonder if this will actually help with any apps installed on the sdcard2 that are FC on the gTablet. Any guru/developer willing to reply?

According to the linked thread, we should have a /sys/devices/virtual/179:0 but I see a 179:16 and 179:24. Both have cache sizes of 128. Could these be sdcard and sdcard2?
