I have always dabbed into the root. My N1 was fantastic rooted and running CM. No need to now its on gingerbread.

Excellent news. Wish more manufacturers would follow suit. Next time my contracts up , I'll seriously consider SE now if they are going to continue with this.

Im used to the freedom with my n1. Its brilliant when you can do anything with your phone.

Any word if the US bound one (for Verizon) will have locked bootloader?
My guess is yes, but I really don't want to be right in this case...
