Default playing movies from ntfs usb drives?

I am using tnt lite 4.3.2 and have tried a couple of custom kernels and have been unable to view what is on the harddrive. Fat32 works fine does someone know what I am doing wrong?

Thanks for the reply. Now for a real noob question where do I add those lines? In other words where would I find the terminal file?

I think "terminal emulator" comes pre-loaded in the rom and should be in your apps drawer.

Is the drive powered? The Gtab USB runs around 5v, definitely not enough to power a hard drive.
Mash the thanks button if I help you, it makes it easier to explain to my wife why I spend so much time on here

I have been trying a thumbdrive and a wall powered external. I have not been able to get either to work. I just installed TNT Lite 4.4.0 and went into terminal emulator and typed
mount -o umask=000 -t ntfs /dev/block/sda1 /mnt/usbdisk
It then showed some options like -o -t etc. I then tried to look at the usbdisk in Ifilemanger but it just showed up as blank.
I then tried terminal emulator again and it didn't like the mount command or unmount command.

Thanks

Thanks I got it to work. Now my other question is there anyway to make it permanent so you don't have to enter that info in terminal emulator everytime?

Thanks again
