Using Sensorly, I found that I can get 4G on the street behind mine and up in most of my neighbourhood, but not on my damn street! Boo!!! Oh well, my WiFi is still faster than 4G would be anyway. I am planning on driving around my area a little each day over the course of the next week to fill in some more of the 4G map on Sensorly. I live in the south-eastern most part of College Area, only a few blocks from the La Mesa border.

I got excellent WiMax signal at the intersection of College and Montezuma, with about 5.8 Mbps down on SpeedTest

I spent some time taking the long way home a few times yesterday and mapped out a little more the area on Sensorly if anyone is so inclined to take a look. I got more of the area south of SDSU and also some more of northern North Park and then along Adams, through Normal Heights over to College Area again. You can see the coverage on their website too, not just the app...

There is quite a bit more 4G coverage than I would have expected to find, it's crazy that we aren't listed for getting it but yet here it is. Some of this was even done after 8pm, so it's not like they are turning it off after the work day is over.

Its crazy that people post messages like this and don't even read posts back throughout the thread explaining the 4g coverage you found.

It does not look like there has been much expansion to this lately.
