Wink [ROM] Official Froyo KR v3.4.2-74 released.

Hi,

Motorola Korea released official Froyo for SKTelecom on 21 Mar.

For more information, visit the following link (click 'Version Upgrade' in left menu).
http://www.motorola.com/consumers/v/...008406b00aRCRD

Release Note (Google translation): http://bit.ly/geUuIT

Rootable with SuperOneClick.
Skippable MotoBlur setup.

Some differences with other leaked Froyo:

* Surely, OFFICIAL Froyo provided by Motorola Korea.
* FlipFont - Font type and overall size of fonts can be changed without rooting.
* aGPS - assisted GPS
* Voice quality - Four voice profiles to enhance call listening.
* Camera - no reverse latitude problem.
* Phone Dialer - Built-in 'Voice Record' and 'Block Call' buttons.
* In-Pocket detection works great.
* and... a lot of bloatwares for YOU

nandroid:

fixed sbf: many thanks to DOCIOHN.

HOWTO:
Official KR SBF has lower versions of CG31(v2) and CG39(v2). so someone can't boot with offical SBF.

If you had ever flashed other leaked Froyo or stock v2.51,
1. restore nandroid backup.
2. flash fixed SBF with RSDLite.
3. It's always good to wipe out data and cache in recovery mode.

If not, just flash official sbf.

Thanks a lot. AFAIK, this should have the stable 720P codec. The Korean 2.1 was wonderful for running AVI, MKV files.

Is there any disadvantage of korean region for european users? I mean: signal issues, or something similar?

I dont think why there would be any disadvantage. But, if I were you, I would wait for someone to turn this into a customized ROM. It has a lot of bloatware.

I am very interested in this too, because I already have 2.2 but it has some problems I want to upgrade to an oficial 2.2 release, but I live in Europe and I'm very interested in knowing if it has any problems working on Europe GSM networks.

As far as I remember, I had serious signal issues with chinese ROM, furthermore US and european ROM is not fully "compatible". So that's why I asked, I don't know if there are these kind of differences between the regions.

I don't really like customized ROM by others, I usually do the customization for my own. Okay, a deblurred base would be nicer, but I'm really curios about new versions.

I tried with this(http://tomtom2k5.free.fr/mkv/720p/sa...p.x264-sfm.mkv) but stock gallery didn't play it.

I'm not sure but there was no problem when I flashed european ROM to my Korean Defy one of disadvantage for european user would be language support. it contains only English and Korean.

Stock slider. I don't know how to make a theme for it.
