Red face how to hard reset samsung galaxy i5500
if this helps anyone.

first use odin to update it to 2.2

then use one samsung i9000 one-click root
make sure when you connect the usb to phone select kies option, this will turn on usb debugging if you cant get past the security code or email.

select one click root 2.2
wait....

then you will be in recovery boot screen
select wipe\factory reset
then select reboot now phone

phone will restart and go into recovery again, simply select reboot a second time and you will be good.

mine was in spanish , i speak english i think you guys can figure the reset out,

i hope this helps you all for security locks and other things....

if someone can rewrite this with the correct files for those who dont know where to get odin and .tar and .ops files . that would be nice. i figure everyone knows where to get the one click root files

I downloaded the files and put them in the windows folder. \ windows \ system32

open "cmd" and typed "adb reboot recovery", but the "cmd" tells me the message: "adb is not recognized as an internal command."

what do I do?!
