[Q] How does one remove the "Verizon" tab inside of Vending.apk

I'm making a non Verizon rom for CDMA Milestones and need to remove the Verizon branding from Vending.apk. How would I accomplish this?

In the build.prop find:

ro.com.google.clientidbase=android-verizon

And change it to:

ro.com.google.clientidbase=android-google

If it does not exists, then append it to your build.prop at the bottom. After you flash the new ROM, the market will now have a "My Apps" (newer gingerbread style market) button or "Downloads" (older classic market) depending on the version of vending.apk.
