[Q] Text to speech app

I’m running liquid ginger bread on my droid and for a while now. I’ve been trying to find a program that i can load a .txt .doc or any kind of text file in to and the program read it back to me. I’ve looked all over and the closed i have come is a pdf app that reads pdf's to me but the problem with this is i have to convert everything to a pdf and it doesn't stop reading when i get a phone call. the only other way I’ve found is to enable the talk back function on my droid but that reads everything on the screen all the time and gets annoying.

so does anyone know of a program that i can load a text file in to and have it read to me when i hit a play button or whatever
