Well... there IS a shipping option for UPS (which charges 20British Pounds more than Fedex, which is odd...) if you order from Handtec. It's reasonable they first had to send it to UPS since ＵＰＳ is a US-only company. (whereas, Fedex is worldwide)
The email was sent from a support dept because... support staff usually deals with responding to questions? Perhaps the sender asked if the device would be available at the beginning of April? I'm just guessing all these since this thread had my hopes up
