Default [Q] Music stuttering

Hello guys, I tried looking for this problem on the forum to no avail.

I recently installed the new 2.3.3 firmware leak and ever since I have had problems with my music player. The music plays fine until the screen turns off and then it stutters and forces the phone to restart.

Has anyone else experienced this problem and are there any known fixes? I tried playing the music off the internal and external SD which doesn't make any difference.

Thank you.

Hello,

What rom are you on? Is it stock, or something custom?

What format is your music encoded as?

Have you done a factory reset either before or after the flash?

I would maybe give it another factory reset.

Did you flash the JVK firmware with the updated bootloader by chance?

The one thing I do use my phone for is alot of music, and I'm not really experiencing any problems like that.

Is this happening on the stock music player?

My phone is rooted and I used Odin3 to download the firmware onto phone.

I'll try another factory reset to see if it fixes the problem.

And yes, I am using the stock music player.

I used this step-by-step fyi.

I just did a factory reset but I still get the same problem.

I noticed that when my phone is being reset, the screen is scrambled for a few moments before startup. Is this normal?

You need to flash the JVK with the updated bootloader.

Look for it in the JVK download thread, first post.
