Default Is my microSD card dying?

I'm rooted and running midNIGHT_ROM v4.2 BYOR Edition and have CWM3 installed. I can access everything on my card just fine through Astro or another file manager, and even play back my music just fine.

Yet if I try to do a backup or recovery via CWM, or anything relating to the sd-card, it can't do anything. It won't mount, and I can't format it as thus.

So is it dying? Am I doing something wrong? Do I need a new card?

Update/Edit: Nevermind. I found the issue. It was because of going through Quickboot rather than doing the three-finger salute.

I'll keep this up in case anyone else comes across the issue.

Are you using a reboot function or an app like quick boot?
